Every layer of the envelope

Five trades under one roof: installation, air sealing, soundproofing, commercial work, and new-construction packages. Pick a section or call 250-938-0767 and describe the job.

01

Insulation Installation

The right material depends on the assembly — there is no one answer for an attic, a rim joist, and a pole barn. We install all of the majors and tell you straight which one your building actually needs.

Spray foam insulation
Partnered with MTN Top Spray Foam, we spray Genyk spray foam — primarily 2 lb closed-cell, the workhorse for exterior applications. It insulates and acts as a built-in vapour barrier in one pass, sealing out moisture while it seals in heat. Open-cell is available where the application calls for it.
Fiberglass batt & blown-in
Cost-effective, high-performance coverage for walls, ceilings, and attics — batts where access is good, blown-in where it isn’t.
Rigid foam board
High R-value per inch for foundations, exterior sheathing, and anywhere a thin, tough layer has to do a lot of work.
Mineral wool (Rockwool)
Fire-resistant, water-repellent, and excellent at sound control — a favourite for interior walls and code-driven assemblies.

02

Energy Efficiency & Air Sealing

Insulation only performs when air stops moving through the assembly. Sealing the leaks is the cheapest energy upgrade there is — and on new builds, it’s what gets you through the blower door test.

Vapor barrier systems
Sealed poly and acoustical detailing that controls where moisture can and can’t go — the difference between an assembly that lasts and one that grows mold.
Thermal imaging inspections
An infrared camera doesn’t guess. We scan the envelope, find the cold spots and bypasses, and show you exactly where the house is bleeding heat.
Blower door test compliance
Airtightness work done with the test in mind — sealing details, penetrations, and transitions so the number comes in where the code (and your energy advisor) needs it.
Window & door sealing
Backer rod and caulking around every rough opening — small details that close out drafts and tighten the whole envelope.

Soundproofing & Moisture Barriers

Comfort isn’t only thermal. The same trade that keeps the cold out can keep the noise down and the moisture where it belongs.

Soundproofing insulation
Sound-attenuating insulation in interior walls, ceilings, and floors — bedrooms that stay quiet, offices that stay private, suites that don’t share every footstep.
Moisture & vapour barrier installation
A seamless layer that stops water vapour moving through walls, ceilings, and floors. Critical in basements, crawl spaces, and exterior walls — and the cheapest insurance against mold, mildew, and structural damage.

04

Commercial & Industrial

Large buildings have large energy bills and unforgiving schedules. We insulate warehouses, factories, and multi-unit residential across the Interior — on time, to spec.

Warehouse & factory insulation
Tailored insulation for big commercial spaces — consistent temperatures, lower operating costs, and quieter floors, with fireproofing where the spec calls for it.
Cold storage & refrigeration facilities
When the product depends on the temperature, the envelope is the whole game. High-performance systems for cold storage and refrigeration buildings.

New Construction & Retrofits

From bare studs to better-than-code, or bringing a 1970s envelope up to today’s standards — same crew, same standard of work.

New home & commercial building insulation
Working alongside your builder’s schedule: the right systems in the right order, ready for inspection the first time.
Retrofit & energy upgrade services
Upgrading insulation and air sealing in existing homes and buildings — lower consumption, lower bills, and a building that finally holds its temperature. This is where the CleanBC rebates earn their keep.
